Janis Joplin 356

Early last year I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful Porsche 356.  This wasn’t just any 356 though, it was a a super colorful 1964 Porsche 356 SC that was once owned by Janis Joplin.  The car was often referred to as “one of the most famous cars of the Swinging Sixities”.   There’s really nothing I can say about this car or story that hasn’t already been said, so with that I’ll leave you with some images I took for the Christophours Magazine and Porsche Klassik Magazine articles about the car.  One of the images made the cover of the Klassik magazine which was a real treat to see!  Both magazines put together great articles about the story, I would highly suggest picking one up to read all about it.

Audi + MLS Cup

One of my recent projects for Audi and the MLS recently went live on Audi’s social media last week.  Audi wrapped their brand new R8 in a unique livery to show off each teams colors.  The goal of this image was to show off both the teams involved in the championship game as well as the city the game was taking place in.  I wanted to share a few of the extra images we created as options as well as some behind-the-scenes images captured by my friend George Bucur.  Big thanks to my buddy Andrew Link for braving the cold and late night while working the lights for me.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS

One thing I have always loved about Porsche cars is the unique colors that owners finish them in, this Gelbgrun Green GT3 RS is a perfect example of that.  Pair this beautiful car with a set of HRE Wheels and you’ve got one stunning vehicle.  Indy Car driver Graham Rahal, owner of this as well as the 918 Spyder one post behind this, really knows how to set up a street car!

Porsche 962C

Part of what I love about my job is the spontaneity and randomness of it.  This shoot was planned out fairly last minute with only a couple hours notice and I was scheduled to shoot an entirely different car.  Everyone knows I’m a massive Porsche fan, so when I showed up and this gorgeous machine was there I knew I wouldn’t be leaving until I was able to snap a couple photos of it.   Click below to see the rest of the images
